What is a FHO?
Family Health Organization is a group of family physician who share medical records and work together to cross cover one another when one physician is not available (after hours or holiday).
The Scarborough Family Health Organization has 22 dedicated family doctors with offices in East York to Scarborough.
What is SAFHT?
The Scarborough Academic Family Health Team provides Ministry of Health funded medical resources (ie nurses, nurse partitioners, mental health workers, chiropodist, dieticians, and case manager) supporting family physicians’ care of their patients.
